iCompli® will work with Thorntons to deliver a Data Protection risk audit that will identify major areas of risk. Key deliverables are helping Thorntons to meet legal obligations required by UK statue law, in particular the requirements set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 i.e. 'Cookie law'.
Through an understanding of the commercial needs of Thorntons and its customers, iCompli® will present a number of strategies which set out how they could capture and use personal data in both a commercial and compliant manner.
