Want to talk to us about privacy and your data?
That’s great, it’s what we do! We are a Data Controller, and we are duly NOTIFIED with the Information Commissioner. Not that that will mean much to most folk, but it’s the law so let’s not gripe. Head on over to the ICO website and look up the register of data controllers and search for iCompli Limited .. there you go.
If you would like to PHONE, WRITE or EMAIL us regarding your personal data, all of our contact details are on the company/contact page of this web site. Up on the top right of this page.
What personal data do we process and why?
Contact information like your phone number, email address(es) and your job role. We use this information in an ‘opportunity’ manager to identify who we are working with and who we would like to work with! That means we will use your contact details as provided by you to market our products and services.
Sharing your data
We don’t, unless we have too.
We may have to share your data if requested by law enforcement agencies, the Government and legal counsel. We will however always take note of any duty of confidence we owe to YOU as part of our decision on whether to disclose or not.
We want our website to work really hard for us, and that means understanding how well users (like yourself) can navigate the site and find information they are searching for.
To do this we will use Google and other analytics services to help us identify how people found our website, what pages they visited and for how long for. OK the CONSENT bit .. Strictly speaking we have to have your informed consent to drop this cookie on your browser .. but we have already done it. As we can’t identify YOU from this information, our assessment of the impact on your personal privacy is low. As advances in technology become available, we will review and implement opt-in mechanisms as required.
If you would like to remove or block these analytic cookies, you can amend your browser settings accordingly. This website will help you understand the issues and how to make the necessary changes in your browser. If you use Mozilla FireFox, consider using their NOSCRIPT addon as a great way of controlling what happens on YOUR browser when you visit websites.
Doing our best .. for the latest guidance on how to comply with the UK Regulations visit the ICO website.
If you have found yourself on one of our mailing lists and you don’t want to be there, your first step should be to unsubscribe from the link that will be on every marketing email we send out (that’s the law!). If it’s broken (it does happen) just call or drop us an email and we will suppress your contact details from future marketing.
Your Data Rights
There’s quite a few, but the important ones are 1. your right to ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing, and 2. your right to ask for access to information we hold about YOU.
Use the ‘contact us information’ on this website to get in touch and ask about your rights.
Is your data transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)?
iCompli uses a number of Software as a Service (SAAS) providers, including Microsoft, who may transfer your data to countries outside of the EEA. This is not a transfer for the purpose of further use, but an intrinsic part of the Data Controller/Data Processor relationship.
Whilst we have chosen reputable service providers, this does not preclude your data being accessed by authorities outside of the EEA jurisdiction.
