We understand that external audits are not ‘relished’ by everyone. There can be a lot of time and effort to identify relevant evidence to support your third-party assessments.

Our aim is always to reduce any compliance burden and ensure you access the benefits of being an ‘approved Microsoft supplier’ with minimal effort.

Our assessment experience has shown that annual (re)assessment can be far more efficient if the documentary evidence used to support previous assessments is retained in a structured file system and made easily accessible to all relevant staff.

This is particularly true when there have been personnel changes since the last SSPA assessment. New members of staff often struggle to access a disparate array of folders and files and appreciate having all the existing files in one, structured location.

To address this iCompli has introduced a new client assessment ‘portal’, built on familiar SharePoint technology, which securely stores your evidence files, self-assessment results, and records of assessment in one secure location.

Utilising the SharePoint permissions functionality, SSPA Admins can now invite colleagues to their site, enabling the sharing of evidence files.

For Microsoft suppliers that have a stable technology and management structure, the time required for re-assessment evidence gathering can be significantly reduced. Static evidence from previous assessments can now be quickly incorporated with any dynamic evidence requirements e.g., annual training records, information and technology asset registers, network change logs etc.
